利用长期定位实验、区域调查与联网实验等手段相结合,聚焦植物多样性与生态系统功能关系及其对全球变化与生态修复手段响应的研究:1. 草地稳定性的维持机制及其对养分变化的响应;2. 全球变化对草地植物多样性—生态系统功能关系的影响;3. 城市系统重大修复工程提升生态系统功能和服务的潜在机制。主持国家自然科学基金、国家农业重大科技项目子课题、北京市自然科学基金及皇家娱乐城 创新能力建设专项等项目10项,以第一或通讯作者发表SCI论文30余篇,授权发明专利1项。
