主要从事草种质资源收集、评价及新品种培育工作,培育出自主知识产权的生态景观草新品种29个,授权专利5项,制定标准6项,发表学术论文140 余篇。研究成果先后获得国家科技进步二等奖1项,北京市科技一等奖1项、二等奖3项、三等奖2项,国家林草局梁希林业科技二等奖2项,北京市农业技术推广一等奖2项、二等奖1项。
